Coop Ale Works

F5-IPA

7.0% ABV 102 IBUs

F5 is simply an IPA lovers dream. The mild malt body and hop-forward bouquet of Amarillo and Simcoe hop additions impart citrus, grapefruit and pine notes characteristic of the West Coast style. F5 is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Just had f5 for the first time at a bar in Tulsa. Hurdled Atlas by Marshall’s and instantly became one of my top 3 favorite ipa’s.

  2. Rod says:

As an airline pilot I am very fortunate to be able to travel to the best beer areas of this country. When asked what is my favorite beer…COOP F5 always makes the top five. When I’m in OKC, my trip is incomplete until I enjoy one or three!

  3. Ivana says:

I’m a huge IPA fan from Seattle, and travel to OKC frequently enough. This is my beer of choice when I’m in Oklahoma. Someday, I’ll have to visit the brewery.

  4. Jonathan says:

Coop’s f5 is my favorite IPA out there, and I love IPAs. I feelspoiled now in Oklahoma city; if the bar I’m at doesn’t have f5, I don’t know what to do for a few minutes.

  5. Casey Mooney says:

Do you sale f5 in bottles or cans? If not, where can I buy a keg?

  6. Jer says:

F5 may be the best IPA I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried a lot. This IPA is perfect COOP!

  7. If the spot I’m at doesn’t have Native Amber, then I opt for F5, my second favorite COOP creation!!

  8. Jonathan Ogilvie says:

Oklahoma City’s Tapwerks in Bricktown was a great first experience for me in this fine city.

Our server suggested the F5 IPA. I am an IPA officianado – this IPA rocked! Awesome flavor and an outstanding beer. One of the best IPAs that I have had and I have had plenty!

  9. ChefMnL says:

Another wonderful beer from coop. I have yet to have a beer from them that I have not liked. Keep giving me reasons to love you guys!!

  10. Mark says:

Im guessing you use the Simcoe for bittering and the Amarillo for flavor/aroma. Do you also dry hop this?
